1.0 What is Mambo
Mambo is a Content Management System (CMS) to assist users in building a robust website.

1.1 Mambo Description
Mambo is a full-featured CMS. Implementation of the software is via PHP and sets of templates to allow the website owner to have a working site in a relatively short period of time. Mambo runs under an Apache server with PHP, MySql and Zlib.

1.2 Mambo and P3P interaction
Mambo does not have any module that directly implements P3P policies. Instead, the companies writing the CMS package leave it up to the website owner to figure out how to implement P3P features.

If you have blocked cookies in Mambo using IE6 on your shopping carts, banners, or other functions then you definitely need a P3P privacy policy.

If you are using cookies with your Mambo installation, you will need a P3P policy to ensure your site works correctly with IE6 and later P3P enabled browsers. If you are having problems or blocked cookies with your banners, shopping carts or tracking systems then P3Pwriter will fix it.
